For Wednesday, Dec. 3 training night for LeMars Fire Rescue, they took a tour of the Sioux City Fire Rescue’s Regional Hazmat truck, which they brought to LeMars to show to the department. Sioux City Fire Rescue (SCFR) operates a regional hazardous materials (HAZMAT) program using dedicated response vehicles, including a specific truck known as “Hammer 13” (or now referred to as Hazmat 4), and associated trailers. Fire claims Pierre flower shop

No one was hurt in a fire that consumed the Pierre Flower Shop and Greenhouses on Friday, May 1. Firefighters, who were able to save nearby buildings, were on the scene until 5:30 a.m.
