New Year’s Day was very busy for Cherryvale Fire Rescue.

Feb. 6-8, 2015: Les Lukert Conference, Holiday Inn Hotel and Convention Center, Kearney, NE.
The Postville Fire Department was dispatched to 341 Cherry Valley Drive, the Doug Huinker residence, on Wednesday, Nov. 12 just shortly after dinner.
On Dec. 13, ice water rescue training was held in Battle Creek at the Crawford Creek Recreational Area.
If there’s one thing the fire service is not short on is overachievers. I’m constantly amazed at the thoughtful and innovative ways departments come up with to get the job done.
