147th IFA Convention
Just a short sixty-five days or so until we open the gates on the 147th IFA Convention. If you haven’t registered yet I suggest you get it done soon as the price goes up to $100 per person on Aug. 1st. Merchandise sales are available on the website for pre-order until Aug. 1st to be picked up at Convention. There will also be a limited amount of apparel and merchandise available for purchase at Convention including challenge coins, flasks, and cozies but order today to make sure you get the size and style you want.
There are a lot of things in motion right now including sponsorships, the convention book, electrical upgrades, necessities, vendors and food truck choices, parade and show details, drill contests and more. After a discussion with our electricians and the board at the Expo, we decided to upgrade the electrical boxes to include two 30-amp camper outlets, two 50-amp camper outlets and four 110 outlets. So, you will be able to use the 50-amp outlets if there is one open. We do recommend that you prepare and make sure you have adapters and extension cords to accommodate the sites.
We have been finalizing some other items including firewood sales. This year we will have firewood available on site that can be purchased by full 250-gallon tote delivered to your camp site for $100. We may also offer firewood in smaller amounts but will be a self-serve self-load system. Reminder that all fire pits must be elevated to avoid damage to the grass and gravel areas at the expo. We also ask that you please bring a metal container to gather up the ashes and we will come around daily to collect and dispose of them.
