Congratulations to President Al Esch and his Mid Year Committee for putting on a great event at the Hotel Julien in Dubuque.

While our mid-year meeting is fresh in my mind, I would like to thank all who attended or helped in any way. I sincerely hope that the venue lived up to everyone’s expectations.

The Board of Directors of the South Dakota Firefighters Association is pictured at Fire School in Aberdeen on April 4.

Here we are. Fire School is over and it was another successful school.

I recall as if it were only yesterday taking my first firefighter class. It was the typical basic firefighter orientation unit.
