It’s that month when we all start thinking about what happened to summer. We say things like holy cow, I didn’t get anything done. Or oh crud, guess I’ll have to wait until next year.
September was a busy month.
There were several District Fire Schools across the state. Board meetings, Fall Fire Conference and Memorial Service.
I am so ready for fall and winter. Out here in Northwest Kansas our pastures never did green up, many have sold off their cows and the farmers are now cutting the corn for silage.
On July 21, Sandstone Fire and their mutual aid partner Finlayson Fire and Rescue were dispatched to a Dell Road address for a fully involved mobile home.
