On July 12-14, six fire departments came together to take a water rescue class. Class participants came from Schuyler, David City, Morse Bluff, Oxford and Monroe. 

     Ok, I am typing this with just the index finger on my right hand since the kitchen knife was a lot sharper than I thought it was and I needed to pay better attention.

     The Rapid Valley Volunteer Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire in the 2400 block of Sprucewood St, Rapid Valley, Unincorporated, Pennington County, SD.
